    1. Re: Benn WI > WA
    2. Kris - A number of my Sam's relations did come to WA from back east (MA, PA, ME), so it is possible your George Benn is related, but I don't know. Unfortunately I don't know a lot about these 'eastern' relations. What time period did George move to WA? Do you have anything on family prior to Wisconsin or George's father? Benn isn't a common name, maybe we can find a connection.

    2. I'm having NO luck finding anything on this family. I believe Joe and Lydia Connelly were divorced in the early 1940s. I would think records should be in court house in Montesano. Their son James was married in Montesano in 1946. There should still be family living in Aberdeen; Carl, Joe and probably some grandchildren.

    2. Julie Zander
    3. Hi: Do you want your family history to contain more than names and dates, facts and figures? You can find out how to effectively capture the memories of family members during a three-day oral history workshop Sept. 6, 7 and 8 at McMenamin's Kennedy School in Portland. Teaching the workshop is Charles Morrissey, a former president of the national Oral History Association and oral history consultant for the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. The workshop is sponsored by members of the nonprofit Association of Personal Historians. The cost to attend increases after July 31st so I thought I'd let people know now in case they want to sign up. If you'd like more information, please contact Paula Slavens at paulasl@teleport.com Thanks, Julie Zander
