My ancestors are Lewis Edward DeKalb Roberts and Sarah Gainey Wages, so I read your info with interest. I have been trying to make some headway into these families for some time, without success. Here's what I have, although very little is documented: John Wesley Wages had two sons, Vincent and John Wesley (II), both said to have been early settlers of Tippah County, MS John Wesley (II) had several sons, among whom were Moses Herlock Wages Moses married Rebecca Crawley Their daughter, Sarah Gainey Wagees married Lewis Edward DeKalb Roberts I have more info on them and the Roberts.
