Thank you for your Waid family history. It is my understanding that Wade could be spelled, Waid, Waide, Waad. Perhaps there are others in our group with these names. Your family lived in Hunt, Hopkins and Dallas County, Texas. My grandfather lived in Collin County that joined Hunt County on the West side. George Griffin Wade b. 1869 in the Tupelo, MS area, came to Farmersville, Collin County, Texas in 1890 died 1952. Son of Henderson Wade, Jr. & Rebecca Shelton.
