Marjie: I live in Tahlequah OK and could call the genealogical society here (Indian Territory Gen. Society) and ask any specific questions (they have burial lists, etc.). I would be glad to send you any phone numbers in the book so you might contact people here. There are a few WADES here (I am a WADE but did not grow up here). I will try to help what I can. I know the society does not have a huge amount of resources (just a small room at NSU library). Let me know what you need to get going. Also, Eldon is here (actually a part of Tahlequah), a tiny area of extreme beauty, Eldon Hill along the Illinois River. Some tips of where in Oklahoma I might find WADE's living. My grandfather Raymond was born in Eldon according to his SS Application. Father is Jeff (Jefferson) and Myrtle WADE. I looked at ancestry.com's 1920 Cherokee County, no luck. Any help appreciated.
