    3. Hi...I know this might be a dumb question but... What is the coat of arms. I know it is a sheild but what I mean is who made them up and what do the different things on the sheild mean? And is the Wade sheild for all wades or just a certain line?? thanks, Judy from Texas --- Robert Wade <[email protected]> wrote: > If anyone on this list has a copy of the Wade Coat > of Arms mentioned by > Glenn, either that specific one or another similar > as there are more than > one in existence, I would also love a copy. 3. Betty, I sure would like to be able to tie my Robert Allen WADE, born anywhere between about 1810 to 1840 to your Allen WADE b abt 1770. Do you have any idea who George Boxley's siblings were? 3. Yes Paul, The known siblings are: John Wade; Lucy Wade; David Wade; Wilmoth Wade; Henry Wade and Drury Allen Wade Sr. born 1795 and married Nancy Green. These were born in Halifax Co. as far as I know. There may be more siblings. I don't have the dates of the others, only George & Drury. Allen Wade and Mary Polly Boxley married in Halifax Co., Va. on 13 Mar 1794. ...Betty P. S. I do have the names of the children of George and Drury. George raised his family in Miss. and then brought them to Texas in 1860. Drury raised his family in Alabama and stayed there. I don't know anything about the others....BP ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul Hathcoat <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2001 12:51 PM Subject: [WADE-L] Allen WADE b abt 1770 > Betty, > > I sure would like to be able to tie my Robert Allen WADE, born > anywhere between about 1810 to 1840 to your Allen WADE b abt 1770. > > Do you have any idea who George Boxley's siblings were? > > Paul Hathcoat > [email protected] > > >I haven't posted my family line for a while. 3. Betty, This is so tantalizing! My Robert Allen named one of his sons John David. I'll bet there is a connection somewhere here. But I just don't see it. I am going to copy your info down though because I think I'll eventually be able to connect with it. Thanks so much, Paul >Yes Paul, The known siblings are: John Wade; Lucy Wade; David Wade; Wilmoth >Wade; Henry Wade and Drury Allen Wade Sr. born 1795 and married Nancy Green. >These were born in Halifax Co. as far as I know.
