Dear John, Through research at many libraries, court records and online, I have discovered that there were MANY Isaac Wades. Some of them actually had Isaac has a middle name and used it as their first. My grandfather was Isaac Herbert Wade born in 1875 in Cass Co. Mi. He did the opposite, he dropped the Isaac and went by Herbert. It does make it confusing and hard to research this line. I will check my notes and see if I have an answer for you and get back to you.
