Andrew WADE was my great grandfather born around 1900 in Memphis(?) TN. I have lots of info on his father Ethan WADE but none on Andrew. His mothers name was Mattie Wright WADE (I think) and he had a sister named Bell who married an E.F. GIBSON. Andrew also was in the Navy between wars and served on the U.S.S. Huron. He married (we think) my great grandmother and had a daughter (my line) and a son. Andrew supposedly died in San Francisco c. 1925-1930 of heart failure (he was born with a weak heart) and his remains were returned to Memphis for burial. I have been able to confirm NONE of this. It's as if he's a fictional character my family is making up! Laura Metzger
