Unknown Edward Wade m. 1. Unknown 2. Jane ??? I have done most of the research on my own without depending on internet posted family histories, so I am pretty confident that it is accurate. (That is, as much as you can be sure about these things.) I got a lot of the information from the William and Mary Quarterly publications from before and around the turn of the century. They are available at key word <Jstor> for a price. They used to be free. I would love to compare notes with you concerning your information. Iam especially interested in the connecting link from Andrew I b. 1670 York Co VA to Edward II of York Co. VA. We also seem to have a discrepency on the number of Edwards and a few other minor detail . In case you don’t have it, here is the will extract of the will of Edward: "Will of Edward Wade - Pages. 11-13.9 Nov 1675. Proved 24 April 1677 at Court for York County. Edward Wade of Hampton Parish in York Co. To be buried in the orchard I now live by my family. To my son William Wade 100 acres of land in Hampton Parish. To my grandson Samuel Bond 150 acres at the head of Ware Creek in New Kent County, but if he should die without issue, then to my daughter Jane the wife of Jeremiah Laundy. To my wife Jane, two servants, William Greystoke, and Anne Elmore, and my old grey gelding. To William Wade, my son, furniture and one servant, John Constant. To my grandchild Edward Wade, one mare foal, my mare Rose. To my daughter Dorothy, the wife of Thomas Huncocke (?) the first mare foal that my old mare shall bring forth. To my son Edward Wade one cow between five and six years old. My wife Jane Wade, ex'ix. To William Swinnerton 20/-. Witnesses: John Constant, William Swinnerton." This will is confusing. He mentions sons: William and Edward (II) and daughters; Jane (married to Jeremiah Laundy) and Dorothy (married to Thomas Huncocke). He then mentions two grandsons, Samuel Bond, and Edward Wade(III), who is probably the son of Edward Wade II, so who is the mother of Samuel Bond?
