    3. Slowly, I learn. I am looking for information on the following individual. Abraham Waid b. 1788 South Carolina m. unknown first wife. The 1850 Blount County, Alabama census lists Abraham and wife Ceily (believed to be his second wife.) Living in the household is Stokes B. Waid, age 21. Other sons are Elijah, Greenberry, and Hampton. There may be more children, I just don't have that information or documentation. The Roster of Revolutionary Soldiers and Patriots in Alabama by Louise Milam Julich, copyright 1979 by the Alabama Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, states that Abraham Waid's father was Hamilton (possibly Hampton) Waid who served in the 14th and 10th Virginia Regiments during the Revolutionary War. Hamilton or Hampton is supposed to be buried in Blount County. I have not documented this information to my satisfaction yet. I am searching for Abraham's and Hamilton (Hampton's) burial site.
