We are trying to locate information on Thomas Jesse WADE, who went by the name Jesse, and his wife, Nancy HARDIN. Both are buried in Booher Cemetery, in Arkansas (I have a photo of their headstone, if anyone needs it). We are interested in knowing his birthplace (we have conflicting accounts of Ringgold, Georgia and Tennessee. We also have conflicting birthdates--a family Bible, his wife's, said he was born on 10/15/1848, but he was not found in the 1850 Census with his family members (although I know that doesn't prove anything). Another researcher lists his birthdate as 1846. The reason for this was the 1920 census records. But the same researcher also had the 1910 census record showing Jesse as 60. His obituary lists his age at death as more than 100, but we believe this might have been an error. He died while visiting his son, James Alison WADE.
