Hi Folks, I am looking for my missing gg-grandparents and ggg-grandparents that disappeared during the 1860s. My gg-grandfather was William WADE and his wife was Catharine CRAIG. My ggg-grandfather was Elijah WADE and his wife was Rebecca HAMES. Both of these families are on the 1860 Marshall Co AL census living in the Parches Cove area which is in the West side of the city of Guntersville AL. After the 1860 census I can find no record of them. Were they killed in the Civil War? Did they move somewhere else? If so, where? I have even checked for them in South America. Maybe alien abduction? But in a very serious mode I am looking for any advice anyone can provide that may give me a lead as to how to proceed with this search.
