Our greatest WADE problem need is to find the ancestors of James Madison Wade (b. abt. 1817, SC) who m. Amanda -----. These were the parents of George Washington Wade (b. Mar 1837, GA.) James Madison was found in 1840 and 1850 Cass Co., GA [later renamed to Bartow Co.] James M.'s siblings appear to be Rachel (b. 1815/16, SC, m. Rev. George W. Tumlin), William (m. Rebecca Tumlin), Henry Jackson (b. Dec 1830, GA; 1m. Mary Cannon Spencer; 2m. Laura Althea Henderson), Benjamin, and MAYBE Matilda, Sally, Rowe, and Frank Best theory now is that the father of James Madison, et al, was Henry Wade of 1830 Gwinnett Co, GA; [02110001-102001]; 1820 Pendleton Co., SC [200010-30010] (in the part becoming Pickins Co., in 1826); the Henry Wade in Pendleton Co., SC 1820 was son of David Bingley Wade and Sarah Anglin. David B. died in Pendleton Co. in 1808; was there in 1800 and appears to be the David Wade in Orangeburg Co., SC in 1790. I've never seen anything connecting these Wades to the better documented ones in Virginia >From Cass Co., GA, our Wades of interest went to Floyd Co., GA (1860/70), Cherokee Co., AL (1880), and Montague Co., TX (1900) Would appreciate any help on this line.
