Does anyone have access to the 1930 census of Michigan and Ohio, that can do a look-up for me? John Wilson Wade was born January 26, 1896 or 1898 in Jackson County, TN. My last record for him is in Putnam County, TN in the 1920 census. John left Tennessee and went to either Detroit, MI or Toledo, OH. The story that I have is that he was mugged and killed in an alley way, however no one can say for sure which city he was in. The body was sent to his parents in Tellico Plains, Monroe County, TN for burial. No headstone was erected to give his date of death. If I can determine where he was in 1930, I can start seaching newspapers for a headline or an orbituary. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!! Charley Wade [email protected]
