Included are over 2700 frames, plus the 400 page book that he wrote: Wade's Genealogy 1900. At the Library of Congress - SCW was the largest contributor to WADE HISTORY. It would be great if all of us could continue on from the time SCW died about 100 yrs ago, with our own personal genealogy. Perhaps start a Book II? I searched in London last year, trying to find the parents of my Edward Wade born 1611 London & died York Co, VA. I knew then, it would take many, many years of research to have the English background that SCW had already accomplished. Please let me know if you think it would be a good idea to have a Wade Book II and/or CDs. So many of us are searching for the same lines. email: GeorgiaMHH@aol.com If anyone has any problems I will email you privately

Hi! I know some of you don't need this information, but it's easier to do a blanket mailing to all of my addresses. Our area code is changed. It is now 928-445-3572. Barbara
You're welcome. Would love to hear about anything new you come up with -- or any gap-fillers. Linda
Thank you very much Linda!!
I am searching for any Wades from SE Pennsylvania prior to mid 1800's. My earliest ancestor is Benjamin Wade, farmer & civil war veteran from Coventry Twps, Chester County, PA. Also, any info on descendants of Quaker Wades who accompanied William Penn, who settled in Chester County, c. 1680?
Joyce, I have a Claiborn Wade in my notes. All I have on him is that he was born in 1755 and lived at one time in Amelia, Virginia. He was listed in the CENSUS OF PENSIONERS FOR REVOLUTION OR MILITARY SERVICE 1840. The census listed him as 85 years old at the time the census was taken. Linda M. Smith
I have Wades from Ill but I'm at a wall too. I have an Albert Wade that was born DEC 19, 1866 in LaMoille Township and Married a Mary Heney around 1888.

Marjie I have a Benjamin Wade, born in Arkansas, about 1854, who was married to Lucy ?, born in Tennessee. His parents were Asa D. Wade, born in Virginia, and Mary Verdin, born in Missouri. He was a brother to my great grandmother, Lucy Wade Spivey. Benjamin and Lucy were in the 1880 Sharp County, Arkansas, census with children Mary E., age 5; Rudy, age 2; and Craig, age 7 months. I have not been able to track them farther. Would like to share information. Tommie
Tommie, you can email me privately, would love to share what I have found so far with you, I have been having a hard time with this one too due to the missing 1890 census and lack of resources in Hawaii. Thank you for the article it came out very nice. I know about no memory I had to get me a new computer the one I had could not support any thing I am going to have it up graded some time. The reason for the Sullivant interest is this: in our Moseley-Moore -Wade line: Also the Burton family ,Princess Anne County Va,, Charlotte Co. Va. Laurens County S.C , Crawford Co. Mo. John Sullivan(t) in Princess Anne County 1655 John Moore Isle of Wight County 1699 Of course the Moseley family in Princess Anne County 1649 or so Sullivan (T) family in Lunemburg , George Moseley in Lunemburg then Lunemburg the part that they were in became Charlotte County Moore, Sullivan (T), George Moseley in Charlotte Co. Va. Moore and Sullivan (t) went to Georgia, Moore and Moseley went to N.C. 1789 Moore and Sullivan (T) went to Laurens County- Greensville County S.C. Moore and Moseley went to Laurens County S.C. 1797 Sullivan (T) family to Ky. Wade- Moseley to Hardin County Tenn. Sulivan (T) family to Crawford Co. Mo. 1837 ( my Walls family arrived 1855) Wade to Wright Co. Mo. 1853 my Rose family 1860 from Cherokee Co. N.C. Sullivant family to Wright Co. Mo. Moore in Wright Co. Mo. I have a land plat of Wright Co. Mo. where Moseley, Moore, Sullivan, Wade, Rose, Courtney, Hunter, etc. are in plats , 26,25, 23, 24. My Hall family from Crawford Co. Mo. to Springfield Mo. Sullivan (T) family in Springfield Mo. Some of the Sullivan(t) family are buried in the same Cemetery as David Hampton Wade, and in with my Rose family in Coons Creek, etc. Wright Co. Mo. and in Springfield where my grand mother Elizabeth Addie Rose Hall lived I asked my mother if when she was in Springfield if she ever heard of any cousins named Sullivan ( T) she could not remember and of course my father is dead so do not know if he knew of any ,but we do know that the Moore-Sullivan (T) family married into George Moseley line in Laurens County S.C. and the Moore family married into the Sulivan(t) family in both Charlotte Co. Va. 1783 and Laurens County S.C. 1838 by marriage records of both states. Nancy Hall Anderson
