    3. Carolyn - Ballenger Wade died in 1824 in Cumberland Co Ky and listed sons, Richard, Pierce, James and Jeremiah. Daughters Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Rachel, Judith and Jincey. Birth date for Jeremiah is 10-3-1796. Birth date for Sarah is 3-2-1778. Birth date for Elizabeth is 1798, Rachel is 1805. I do not have a birth date for Pierce Wade, but his marriage is recorded in 1796 in Henry Co VA. I think one of the James Wades in the 1850 Barren Co Census, with wife Sally, is the son of Ballenger Wade. This info is from Three Centuries of Ballengers in America. I was finally able to tie my line through Pierce Wade. 3. Hello fellow Wade List, I have sent an email to all those who contacted me direct or via this list for copies of the Crests/Coats of Arms. If you have not received one, please contact me again. I seem to have got in a right muddle with the volume of requests and will try to answer specific questions later. It is 4.00pm here on Tuesday, so I reckon it is 2.00 am in New York on Tuesday morning!. Therefore you should have received my earlier message before this time. Hope you enjoy them. Robert, Brisbane

    1. [WADE-L] James Wade- 1787
    2. I'm looking for the parents of James Wade of Barren and Cumberland Co., Kentucky. There are two James Wades living very near to each other and both are married to Sally. My James is the younger of the two. (The other was born about 1778) I seem to know more about the wrong James. I am hoping someone connects with this line. I am related through his daughter Nancy Wade who married John D. Williams. I have never been able to find his wife's maiden name. With two James living so close it has been difficult to keep them separated. My James died sometime after the 1860 census was taken, but before the 1870. I know that there is a record in the Douglas register of Daniel Wade and Delphe Green having an unnamed child born April 11, 1787. This date matches perfectly with the age of my James, but I have no firm proof. Any help would be appreciated. Carolyn

    3. Marjie: I live in Tahlequah OK and could call the genealogical society here (Indian Territory Gen. Society) and ask any specific questions (they have burial lists, etc.). I would be glad to send you any phone numbers in the book so you might contact people here. There are a few WADES here (I am a WADE but did not grow up here). I will try to help what I can. I know the society does not have a huge amount of resources (just a small room at NSU library). Let me know what you need to get going. Also, Eldon is here (actually a part of Tahlequah), a tiny area of extreme beauty, Eldon Hill along the Illinois River. 2. Eldon Wade
    3. Hi Linda, Thank you for looking. I'll check out the Edward P. but it is not likely the direct line I'm chasing because his parents m. 44 years after the event in 1825 I'm trying to tie down. I think the reason you could not find a Edward in Hall Co GA in 1825 is because there wasn't one living there. I think the Edward who witnessed the deed in 1825 Hall Co was really a resident of Pendleton Dist SC and was just visiting Hall Co. I think he is the Edward who m. Lucy BURFORD. This Edward was the brother of David WADE (m. Charity BURFORD) who was living in Hall Co GA in 1825. His wife Lucy was the dau. of Thomas BURFORD who also was living in Hall Co in 1825. Any thoughts on that possibility? 3. Listowner or Manager, I am subscribed to this List under 2 different addresses and therefore get 2 each of every message to the List. When I tried to quickly "unsubscribe" with my old address just before I went on a long trip, I did not do it properly and by the time I realized this I had a new address and there is no way for me to automatically "unsubscribe" from my old address. My old Server had said that I would continue to get messages that were sent to my old address for 90 days but it seems to have gone way beyond that. I would appreciate it so much if you would "unsubscribe" my old address - judyb@inficad.com - then I will be getting only one message from the List at a time. Thank you, Judy Bates
