Sharon, Was hoping someone else would answer your query.....since it has been 20 years since I've been in Ryderwood....but it is a very out of the way place but in more recent years has been a town settled by retired folks. It is on a one way road, that is the road doesn't go anywhere but dead ends in Ryderwood........used to have an old store in it with a real old time feel to it, but like I said it has been over 20 years since I've been there, and another thing you have go through Vader to get there, so you have to go through Lewis Co to get there and then you're in Cowlitz Co. but can't get to the rest of Cowlitz Co without going all the way back.....I'm going to post your query on the Lewis Co. page since more people that live in Vader could tell you lot!
