    3. Hi Teresa, Have you heard of the Pumphrey Cem. that was on the William Pumphrey Property In Lewis Co. close to Vadar, ( I Think), when it was called Little Falls? The cem there now still has the name. My Grandmother Sarah Jane Pumphrey Smith Baldwin , was first bur. there in abt 1905/6/7. Unk to me exactly. She died of T B after having 8th child which also died. My father said he was 7 yrs and he was b 1896 and his youngest sister, Sarah ( Sadie) was 6 yrs. old and it was raining season. She had 7 Living Baldwin Ch and 2 living Smith Ch. ( The yougest son James Smith was adopted by her parents after she mar. my grandfather, Paden Cox Baldwin about 1888. The story is that they couldn't get along with him as he was abt 14? yrs older than they. The other Smith son, Wesley lived with an uncle, Francis (Frank) Pumphrey and Family.) Sadie, if I remember was b 1899 so with her it would have been abt 1905. With my father it would have been abt 1903??? I have not found a death date as deaths weren't required at that time. About 1924? all these graves were moved to various cemetery's in area from Cowlitz Co to others in Lewis Co. She is in Little Falls but with no birth date or death date. I wonder if anyone knows anything about this moving of those Graves abt that time? Also if there is a record of the names of those who were moved and their death dates??? I hope some one can help me.
