Welcome Shirley! I must admit when I read John's post that he was stepping down, I hoped you would take over. List Friends, Shirley will do a wonderful job in continuing what John began. I'm researching my husband's family in Cowlitz County. The Huntington's: James (who came out here ca. 1852 and settled in the Rose Valley (Shanghai) area; his son, William Olmskirk Huntington who married Sarah Jane Adams; their son, James Walter Huntington who married Susan B. Moulton, and their daughter, Ethel Frances Huntington who married Leslie Allen Thwing (lived in Kalama and on a houseboat in the Columbia River, father Charles owned Cottonwood Island for 15 years.) Thanks!
