Hello John, Does any of your clan happen to have married into the Wesson and Walter William Baldin famil descendants, of Toledo? Also Does anyone of them happen to have married into, Pumphrey's, Layton's, Griffith, Bland, Bridges, Bowen, Kalista. Lane's and others of the area late 1800 and since to todate? I am descended from Wesson Baldwin, John Hamilton and his two bro's, William and Francis "Frank" Pumphrey who came to Toledo area after 1855 to 1870's? They ended up connected to all these other names and more. Would like to hear from anyone connected to any of these names... Glad to hear from you. We will need to exchange names and addresses, this is how we prove Ancestry.com has problems. We need one more witness, then we can contact Ancestry Support. They always ask about anyone else having problem's and if you don't have any other names, they discard the message's. It's called passing the buck! I believe we can help each other this way. Hi list I also want to say that I am not pleased with Ancestry. Com. I paid for the yearly fee in the midst of taking of my very ill son. In that chaos, I forgot my password. I E-mailed several times to the address given on the site for my password to be sent by E-mail to me. That was its purpose. However, all I got was dead silence from that end. Thus, I lost 1/2 years ability to use the sites which required a password. When I enter my user name and password, a message comes up and says Ancestry.com does not excist. Of course it is because someone put a period in front of Ancestry.com. I have written three e-mail's to them about the problem, but they always tell me that I am entering my password and user name wrong and refuse to correct the problem. This has been going on for 6 months. Also, I have not received a Daily Newsletter for 7 days now, so wrote to them 3 days ago about the problem ad still no Newsletter or answer. One more thing, I have not received an Ancestry Magazine since April 1999, they wrote back and said they changed Editor's and I should receive my magazine's within 10 to 14 days, I received this message Aug 3, 1999 and still no Magazine's.
