There will be something about this in the next newsletter too - but I thought it would be worthwhile to put it on the mailing list. The Historical Genealogy Department of the Allen County Public Library is embarking on a special collection development by seeking to build their directory collection. They will welcome and all directories from any area. They want directories of churches, any organization, clubs, schools, associations, municipal employees, yearbooks, class lists, reunion lists, teacher list - in short all directories of all kinds. They would have a permanent home at the ACPL. They never dispose of any records. You can contact the librarian at skaufman@acpl.lib.in.us.
