We are going to the Fiske Library (1644 43rd E Seattle) for a private tour Friday, April 6th. We need to be there at 10am. It will cost $5.00 each and we need a minimum of SIX people. I am expecting to take the bus as parking is horrible. BUS: I will be taking the 101 from the south Grady Park and Ride at 8:04am. You can call me for directions at 425-226-1633. Bus fare at that time of day is $1.75 (exact change only) and you can get a transfer to cover the Madison Park bus. The 150 from Auburn/Kent and the 194 from Federal Way also go downtown to the bus tunnel. Call 206-553-3000 for times. Get off the bus at the University stop. Take the 3rd and University exit. Turn left (E) to 4th, on 4th turn left (N) walk two blocks to Pike to catch the #11. # 11 Bus to Madison Park: This bus leaves from 4th and Pike (by the Rite-Aide store) every half hour. The closest times for us would be 9:15am or 9:45am. (The 9:15 will get you there early, the 9:45 will get you there a little late) The Fiske is near 43rd East and East Blaine in the lower level of Pioneer Hall at the end of Blaine on the lake shore, the bus stops very close to it. Please let me know if you would like to come on this little adventure. Martha Richards 425-226-1633 marich@ix.netcom.com
