We got several copies of a flyer in the mail from SGS about their Grand Opening this weekend at their new location, 6200 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115. The new location is across the street from the National Archives. The open house will be held on Friday, June 1 from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm, and on Saturday, June 2 from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 12:30 pm on Saturday. At 1:00 pm the annual SGS Membership Meeting will begin, at which time new Board officers and directors will be installed. After the short business meeting, Lynn Moen will give a presentation on publishing your family history. Cake and coffee will be served. The dignitary for the ribbon cutting will be a major media personality. Parking is available on the street or in the National Archives parking lot. P.S. - sorry to post a private message yesterday.
