    2. Emma H. Livermore
    3. I have just received the following from a mailing list in New York that I have signed on to. I thought this should be information that I had best pass on to our members. "The SSA is raising their price for a copy of an application for a SS Number from $7.000 to $27.00 - effective July 1, 2001. The form to obtain a copy of the application for a SS number is SS-5 - Original Application for a SS number." If you are sitting on some applications for the SS number of your ancestors, this week would be the time to get your request postmarked.

    2. H, All: Hope you can help me regarding Ophelia Louise Iodice, per the obituary in the Seattle Times on June 16 or 17, 2001. We had a charter member, Louise Owens Fortier Iodice from back in 1984-85. In April, 1999 we had a 'new' member join, Ophelia Iodice. She lived in Federal Way, but recently I got a change of address for her to Tacoma, WA. I cannot find Ophelia's application to determine if these are the same lady. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help. Trish Boogaerts
