I should have put in what John Ziemantz told me about the data base. So here it is - This is a searchable database for superior court cases in Washington. These are of course the trial level cases, not appellate level cases. Since most cases never get appealed, this database gives a much wider picture---all the cases filed in Superior Court. Among the drawbacks------only relatively recent cases are available and the timeline varies from county to county. However, the database can give valuable information on families in particular counties, or individuals if you are interested in more recent stuff. Try it out and let me know what you think.
