Bette and Charles: If you use the Netscape Browser it does look disjointed. If you use the Internet Explorer, it comes in fine. Bette, trying to get this all straight...were you replying to Charles about how our EWGS page looked to you? (Haven't you had trouble in the past with our site on your computer?) I jsut went to our site, clicked on the link actually, and it loaded and looks fine to me. I know we need stuff from Feb on; I've bugged Shirley for the info. Donna
Here is a great last minute Christmas Gift as the price goes up on Christmas. http://www.rootsweb.com/~waewgs/Calendar.html Andrea Watts Sent this to the people helping the State Library index the Territorial Census and I think it is nice so I am passing it on. http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcard.asp?code=0212320003 Charles
Charles - I didn't like the way that front page looked. It was disjointed or maybe it was the way it came in on my computer. But writing overlaps, etc. Don't know what is going on, but it needs better looks. I want to welcome all the new people, and point out this is not a one way mail list, if you want to give the board a suggestion feel free to post it here. Questions or queries on EWGS also. Charles P.S. There is one member using Spamarrest, so any E-Mails you receive that says you have to click on his URL to make the mail go through, JUST DELETE IT. He can set it to receive mail list mail, and he has not congfigured it to do that yet. I wll give him a few days to do that before I unsubscribe him.
A reminder that the EWGS January luncheon is coming up on January 3rd, 2004 at 12:00 at Fort Wright. Refer to the December bulletin to register for the luncheon asap. It would be a shame to miss this particular speaker, Dr. Linda Hunt, who authored and will speak on "Bold Spirit: Helga Estby's Forgotten Walk Across America". She will also be signing her book at the luncheon. New Board will be installed and Distinguished Service Awardees will be announced for 2004. For any questions, please call Wally Thompson - 328-7794. See you there Bette
Welcome everyone that has subscribed so far. I know it will help EWGS keep in touch with the members. Charles
Hi Bette Welcome to the EWGS mail list. I have set the reply so to reply to this note you should only need to hit reply and type your reply. Mikee
I have your new address, Lola. Please send it to Ann Gonder-Mann, the membership chairman, so that she'll have it corrected in the new directory. Thanks, Doris
How nice that you heard from David Putnam, Charles. I'm so glad you did that for them. And thanks also for the kind words. I guess you know how much it means to get a word of thanks every now and then!!! Doris
Looks OK to me, Charles. Hope you and Jacque have a wonderful Christmas....see you in January. Doris ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237

Here's my input, Charles. I thought it was a great day, and I learned more Saturday and got more inspiration than I have in the last five years. I think she was a wonderful speaker, and wish she was coming back again next week! The church is nice, and conveniently located (once they finish repairing the streets). Has anyone ever asked them about furnishing the lunch? They might be willing to do that for not too much expense, and it would give them a chance to make money too. I'm sorry more people weren't there. It was their loss, and I think either Bette or I in the December Bulletin should let the members know that. How does everybody else feel? Doris
