Remember Baker(doesnt say where he was from) and Jonas Fay(from Bennington,Vt) were early settlers of Pawlet. Remember Baker was a member of the "Green Mtn Boys". The Herrick's Rangers who became known as the "terror of tories" was organized in Pawlet in 1777."
