The book doesnt have any family genealogy...just info on the towns: Enosburg: Chartered to and named for General Roger Enos, (father of Ira Allen's wife,Jerusha and one of Benedict Arnold's officers in the invasion of Canada). Settlement began in 1797. (doesnt say where settlers came from) - ----------------------------- Derby,Vt: is on the border of Canada. Derby was settled in 1795 (doesnt say where the settlers came from)....town grew rapidly and annexed Salem (Vt)in 1881. ------------------------ Morgan,Vt: originally called Caldersburgh, settled about 1800 and organized in 1807 ------------------------ Norwich,Vt: settlement began 1763 by men from CONNECTICUT - ----------------------------------- Troy,Vt: on the Canadian border, settled by men from CONNECTICUT in 1799, .
