Cynthia was very interested in your Part 2 and wondered if you had already put on Part 1 and I'd missed it. Was curious that Asahel POWERS' father, Jerahmeel(Jerathmiel)POWERS (my 4GGF) was not listed as I thought he was still there at the time and had brought his family as one of the early settlers in 1771. That year Asahel was then 13; my 3GGF, David, 20 but living at home and Eunice POWERS, 15, married John NOTT (on Freeman list)the next year (great story, p221, Fred Richardsons's "18C Springfield from Wilderness to Vermont Statehood 1751 to 1791"). Jerahmeel was also one of the grantees of the Town of Walpole. I recommend Fred's book as packed with all kinds of info. As to your basic question, I'm very delighted to see more info on this neck of the woods ... Thanks, Pat New Hampton NH
