First Generation 1. Leon Henry GIFFORD was born on 29 Sep 1877.1 He died on 19 Sep 1879.1 Second Generation 2. Henry T. GIFFORD was born in 1838 in Randolph, Orange, Vermont.2 He was also known as Henry T. GIFFORD. Illustrated Historical Souvenier of Randolph, Vermont, Compiled & Published by Nickenson & Cox, Published Randolph, Vermont 1895, p. 112. of Randolph. At first settled in Royalton, where he was a farmer and gereral tradesman. He removed in 1888 to Vero, Florida, where he still lives. Henry T. GIFFORD and Sarah Jane WOODWORTH were married on 20 Mar 1842.1 3. Sarah Jane WOODWORTH was born on 20 Mar 1842 in Brookfield, Orange, Vermont.3 Henry T. GIFFORD and Sarah Jane WOODWORTH had the following children: i. Cora Emma GIFFORD was born on 6 Dec 1860.1 ii. Nettie May GIFFORD was born on 13 Sep 1866.1 1 iii. Leon Henry GIFFORD. iv. Charles Friend GIFFORD was born on 9 Jun 1879.1 v. Ruby Sarah GIFFORD was born on 13 Dec 1884.1 Third Generation 4. Three sons and two daughters. Friend and his brohter, Wright purchased and divided the old homestead, and many of their descendants are now inhabitants of Randolph. Friend GIFFORD and Armida SMITH were married in 1827.4,5 5. Armida SMITH was born on 12 May 1804 in Whately, Franklin, Massachusetts.6 Friend GIFFORD and Armida SMITH had the following children: i. John GIFFORD was born on 21 Apr 1828.4,7 He died on 10 Oct 1910.7 ii. Charles WOODWORTH was born on 6 Jan 1814 in Bethel, Windsor, Vermont.8 He died on 7 Jan 1887 in Royalton, Windsor, Vermont.8 Charles WOODWORTH and Sally GREENE were married on 12 Apr 1837.1 7. Sally GREENE was born on 28 Dec 1816 in Randolph, Orange, Vermont.3 She died on 2 May 1905 in Royalton, Windsor, Vermont.8 Charles WOODWORTH and Sally GREENE had the following children: i.
