First Generation 1. Charles P. TARBELL was born on 22 Feb 1850 in South Royalton, Windsor, Vermont.1 Illustrated Historical Souvenier of Randolph, Vermont, Compiled & Published by Nickenson & Cox, Published Randolph, Vermont 1895, p. 57. Now of Windsor County Bar. He gained his education by his own efforts. He was graduated at the Albany Law School in the spring of 1870, and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New York. He at once returned home, and in December, 1870, was admitted to the Bar of Orange County. Here he practied law in Judge Perrin's office till 1872, when he moved to Sourth Royalton, where he now lives. Sources 1.
