He is the grandson of Ebenezer; his grandson was living with him in the census of 1850. On one page she says George was born in Hartford Ctre., Vt. On another she says "Hartland Centre, Vt." In any case, she says George E. is the son of George W. b. Aug. 15, 1812 in Hanover, NH and died Apr. 7, 1883 in Canaan, NH He married on May 1, 1838, Minerva A. Wood. Minerva was born Jan. 16, 1814 in Grantham, VT. And died March 13, 1886. She was the daughter of Jonathan and Annie Dinsmore Wood. She does mention that the death record of Minerva says she's the daughter of Baptis and Adeline St. Michael Wood. George W. is #2004 in the book and is son of Ebenezer Fogg, b. July 18, 1785 in Meredith, NH. He died March 15, 1855 He married Nov. 22, 1811 in Hartford, VT., Hannah/Priscilla Tirbon   She was born Aug. 1, 1787 in Bridgewater, Vermont and died Aug. 10, 1874 in Hartford, Vermont.  She was the daughter of Isaac and Mary Tirbon. Ebenezer was the son of Samuel Fogg (1761-1828) He married Hannah Barton, daughter of Ebenezer and Margaret Barton of Chichester, NH. Samuel was in the revolution. Can find more info about the family in the History of Meredith, NH. Samuel was the son of Phineas Fogg and Lydia Pierce Fogg. The actress Connie Hines, from Mr. Ed, descends from this line. She descends from Phineas and Lydia's son Samuel. Anyway, Lydia's maiden name was Fogg. She is the daughter of Simon Fogg and Lydia Gove, and the granddaughter of Seth Fogg and Sarah Shaw. Therefore, she's her husband's first cousin. Phineas was the son of Samuel Fogg and Mary Dearborn and grandson of Seth Fogg and Sarah Shaw. Seth, of course, was the son of the immigrant Samuel.
