Good Evening, We have a new addition to the Vermont Web Site. A photograph and brief biographical sketch of Captain Peter T. Washburn (1814-1870), of Woodstock, Windsor County, Vt. Captain Washburn was appointed Lieutenant-Colonel of the 1st Regiment of Vermont Volunteers, and served as Governor of Vermont, 1869-70. Photo and short description of military service. This information (and photograph) was transcribed and submitted by Charlotte Croshaw. The photo and bio are accessible from the main gateway page, by clicking on the "Latest Additions" button (located in the middle of the page): http://www.rootsweb.com/~vermont/VERMONTGATEWAY.html If you have photos, articles, etc. [pertaining to the history and/or genealogy of Vermont], and you would like to share this information with the list, I would be delighted to include them on the Web Site. Please contact me to let me know if you want to participate. I am especially interested in adding information from Vermont County Gazetteers to the web site. Best wishes and good luck with your search, Karima
