A census of sorts was taken every two years and I found my ggreat uncle who was there from 1879-1884 when he died in prison. I am sorry that I cannot give you the exact address as my computer crashed and I lost my files..unfortunately I had not printed a hard copy. I learned a lesson. I think if you just type in Vermont or even go to Cyndislist of gov. agencies you can get to the sec. of state.
