John Prince was the son of Joseph Prince, Jr. and Sarah (Wyatt). He was born at Amherst, N.H. on 16 August 1795. Mary H. McIntosh was born at Bedford, New Hampshire on 28 September, 1794. They were married at Amherst, N.H., in 1817--either on 25 December, according to State Vital Records; or on March 25, according to the History of Amherst.
