Edmund SHATTUCK (Solomon-1) was born on 10 Mar 1800 in Windsor, Windsor, Vermont.2 He died on 3 Feb 1874.5 Edmund SHATTUCK and Lois PROCTOR were married in 1823.3,4 Lois PROCTOR died on 7 May 1836.5 Edmund SHATTUCK and Lois PROCTOR had the following children: 3 i. Charles Proctor SHATTUCK was born on 20 Aug 1825 in Hartland, Windsor, Vermont.2 4 ii. Arabella A. SHATTUCK was born on 14 Sep 1827 in Hartland, Hartford, Connecticut.2 5 iii. William J. SHATTUCK (Edmund-2, Solomon-1) was born on 4 Sep 1832 in Windsor, Windsor, Vermont.6 Illustrated Historical Souvenier of Randolph, Vermont, Compiled & Published by Nickenson & Cox, Published Randolph, Vermont 1895, p. 123. He was first employed on the Central Vermont railroad in 1852, and in 1854, became a locmotive engineer for that road. He continued with this road until 1880, when he voluntarily retired from active work. In 1880, came to West Randolph, where he purchased the "Evergreen Home," on Pleasant street, where he now resides. Edmund A. SHATTUCK and Anie M. EVANS were married on 28 Dec 1863.7 Anie M.
