Jamie, Thank you for the information concerning the Bishop family listed in the book. This Charles Bishop is from another line of my Bishop Family. The one I am seaching for was maybe born two or three years earlier in either Hartland or Windsor, the son of Eleazer Jr. and possibly Patty Bishop. He had a brother named Lyman and two sisters, Marcia and Rhoda. I have been unable to find out what happened to any of these people. Their father, Eleazer Bishop, Jr. died in 1813 and a Mrs. Patty Bishop was given custody of the children, but nothing in the custody papers indicates that she is their mother.
