Jan, I noticed your Webster interests. Would you happen to know who Solome Webster (b. about 1811 in VT) who married Luther Johnson (in 1835) belongs to? In the 1880 census for Ludlow, Luther and Solome, had a Benjamin Webster listed as living with them. Benjamin was 88 at the time and was born in Vermont. It lists his father being born in NH and his mother in MA. I'm not sure if this Benjamin is her father or what, since it only states "other" in relationship.
