Hello, The "History of Barnard VT", comp. William Monroe Newton, published by the Vermont Historical Society, 1928, does mention a Calvin Green, but says he was a son of Frederick Green and Levina Aikins and was b. ca. 1793. Frederick died in 1801 age 38. Newton says that there were a number of Greens in Barnard at that time whose relationship is unclear. In the 1790 census Frederick, Beriah and Charles Green were listed as heads of households; Arba Green was in Barnard in 1791, and Elijah Green was listed in the 1800 census. Perhaps there is a relationship between Cyrel and Frederick. I assume from your query that you know that Cyrel was of Bethel when he died in 1808, leaving no will. Their children were: Parley, Calvin, Eliza, Asa and Lavina. Many thanks for doing this.
