Remembering Alfred Bolster of VT in Stannard's 16th Regiment and at Gettysburg. Also my uncle who was dropped into Belgium all alone during WW 2 as a lookout for the paratroopers. His wife kept every letter he had written home and I have copies of two volumes. His unit found a Concentration Camp. They forced the townspeople to bury the bodies "in a proper manner" and of course, the townspeople pled innocent. Fly your flags today and May God Bless America and all of her Veterans. Marilyn IL
