FOUR GENERATIONS A remarkable family reunion at East Wallingford, Saturday. Mr and Mrs Alfred Bolster, their children and other descendants Gather at Home of Frank O. Bolster. A remarkable family reunion combining four generations was held at the home of Frank O. Bolster East Wallingford, July 15. Alfred Bolster was born in Londonderry Sept 23, 1831. He married Caroline Cox in March 1852. Their children were Clarence J. Bolster who now resides in Saratoga NYand has one son and grandson; Frank O. Bolster, East Wallingford. De Etta Bolster Taylor, Weston, one child. William B. Bolster, Brooklyn, IA two daughters and two sons. Mrs. Bolster mother of the foregoing died in October 1863. Melvina Wells was born in Pawlet July 5, 1859. Their children were Alva C. Carley who resides in Peru with four children. Aurora Carley Pelsue, East Wallingford, two sons, one grandson, Frank F. Carley Rutland. B. F Carley father of the prededing died in April, 1866. Alfred Bolster and Mrs Melvina Wells Carley were married March 17, 1867. Their chidren are, Nellie Bolster Filatrault, Rutland, one daughter and one son; Eugene Bolster Mt. Holly, two sons; Mytle Bolster Kent, Rutland; David W. Bolster, Rutland one daughter. Mr. and Mrs Bolster have 11 grandchildren and 17 grgrandchildren. Mr. Bolster enlisted in the 16th Vermont regiment in 1862, for nine months. He came home in 1863 and was in the battle of Gettysburg and several smaller engagements. There had been no death among the children but three grandchildren have died; a grandson age 15 and the others at 4 and 2 years. Mr. and Mrs. Bolster have lived at Wallingford for several years .
