>From Rutland Daily Herald Wednesday Morning December 17, 1930 Bridgewater Corners Correspondent Mrs. Karl Houghton Mrs Allen Vaughn went Saturday to visit her sister Mrs Albert Ferris of Moretown for a week. Miss Mary Kavanaugh is working for Julian Messer. Mr and Mrs Joseph Hamilton of Newport and Elizabeth Hamilton and Mrs Howard Richardson of White River visited at Harold Perkins' Saturday. Will Maynard and George Maynard were in Stockbridge Sunday to see the former's father Rufus Maynard who is ill. Mr and Mrs Kenneth Atwood and Mr and Mrs Clarence Braley visited at Will Shurtleff's in Quechee Sunday. Clarence Sherman of Lebanon NH visited at Newman Ayer's recently. Mr and Mrs Edward Abbott of West Woodstock visited Mrs. Abbie Cleveland Saturday. The P. T.A. meeting was held at the schoolhouse Tuesday evening. It was voted to buy candy for the children at Christmas. A good program followed. Mr and Mrs A. W. Bangs of Springfield, Mass. visited Mr and Mrs James Little recently.
