Came to Randolph from Brattleboro, Vt., in 1810, and here he married one year later, Nancy Lamson, who bor him eight children, three of whom died in infancy. Belcher SALISBURY and Nancy LAMSON were married in 1811 in Randolph, Orange, Vermont.12 9. Nancy LAMSON was born on 15 Mar 1791 in Randolph, Orange, Vermont.13 She died on 30 Mar 1828.14 Belcher SALISBURY and Nancy LAMSON had the following children: i. Philander SALISBURY was born about 1813 in Randolph, Orange, Vermont.15 He died in 1850.11 ii. Laura S. Asa FLINN and Amanda MORRIS were married.19 11. Amanda MORRIS was born. Asa FLINN and Amanda MORRIS had the following children: 5 i. Ellen Frances FLINN. 12. Norman SMITH was born about 1776 in Hanover, Grafton, New Hampshire.7,20 He was Baptized on 3 Apr 1777 in Hanover Center Church, Grafton, New Hampshire.7 He died on 27 Oct 1823 in East Brookfield, Orange, Vermont.7 He was buried in Smith Cemetery, , Grafton, New Hampshire.21 Norman SMITH and Susanna WORDEN were married about 1800.10 13. Susanna WORDEN was born. Norman SMITH and Susanna WORDEN had the following children: i. Lorena SMITH was born on 25 Aug 1812 in Brookfield, Orange, Vermont.7 vi. Lorenzo D. Lived in Randolph and Williamstown, and died in Roxbury in 1892. vii. Warren H. SMITH was born on 25 Mar 1818 in Brookfield, Orange, Vermont.7,26 He died in Rutland, Rutland, Vermont.21 Illustrated Historical Souvenier of Randolph, Vermont, Compiled & Published by Nickenson & Cox, Published Randolph, Vermont 1895, p. 141. Counsellor Warren H. Smith died in Rutland a few years since. He was one of the leading lawyers of Rutland County for many years. His father died when he was five years old, and he began his work at six years of age. From that time till he was fourteen he worked and attended district school; after one term in Randolph Academy he taught school winters, continuing his studies in the acadaemy in the fall tems and some of the spring terms, working on farms in the summr. This with one term at Hanover, closed his studies. He studied his profession in the office of Hon. William Nutting till June, 1843, when he was admitted to the bar of Orange county. In August, 1843, he moved to Rutland County, where he has practiced law for many years with good success. They had four children. viii. Hiram SMITH was born on 21 Jul 1822 in Brookfield, Orange, Vermont.7 He died on 23 Jul 1825 in Brookfield, Orange, Vermont.7 14.
