CHARLES EASTMAN'S death cetificate states that his parents were "Carlos and Cyrene Eastman", but that may have been a subterfuge, as no other record of them has been found to date. . We do know that Charles and Lucy's son EUGENE WILLIAM EASTMAN b. 12 April 1856 Holland, Orleans County, VT - d. 5 Nov 1930, Brownsville, Windsor County, VT. His 1st wife was Mary Ruter Eastman d. 21 Sept 1884 age 24 years and a daughter (died as an Infant) are buried at Holland VT.
