Through the years "many" folks have asked me if or do I know of any "professional" genealogist. Because I volunteer for usgennet & the local historical societies; and because rootsweb is "non-commercial", I steer away from the issue. However, there are significant numbers out there who are looking for someone, I would like to at least refer them to a "list"; if there is such a thing. My primary queries are Norwich & Randolph, including those in between; aka White River Valley. Thank you Harriet Chase in picture postcard perfect central Vermont; bright, chilly and leaves turning.
Hi Harriott, Because you know a lot about Norwich, do you know of an Emma Reynolds born in Norwich in June of 1853? I was not able to get to Vermont this summer and am searching for her ancestors. She married Julius H Porter. She is buried in Langdon, NH's "west" or "lower" cemetery. She had 11 or 12 children so there are a lot of descendants who would like to know her ancestry. Thanks!
