    3. Janice: Was there any SWAN(N) men listed. I have a 'DNA Cousin' who's 'brick wall' is William Swan WELLS b: 1811 ... Since our WELLS DNA matches perfectly we know we have a common ancestor. We think there is a tie between my James and William ... we thought maybe SWAN middle name may have been a maternal line surname... or maybe a 'brother soldier's surname.
