I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Emma COOLIDGE of Mt. Auburn, Mass. The photograph (a cabinet card type photo) has been trimmed across the bottom, removing any reference to a photographer, studio or location, however, it is dated Nov 27, 1886. Emma appears to be in her 20's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Emma and her family: Emma COOLIDGE b. 3 Jan 1864 in Watertown, MA to parents John COOLIDGE (b. 1821 in Watertown, MA) and Martha Jane STURTEVANT (b. 1822). Emma married William Webster RUGG (b. 1871 in Shaftsbury, VT) on 25 May 1899 in Watertown, MA. The couple had a son William Coolidge RUGG b. 7 Mar 1900 in Watertown, MA and Emma died 16 Oct 1956 in Norwich, VT.
