I just found a record that indicated my 'brick wall' was living in "Old Windsor" as of 16 Sep 1813 when his son, Francis James WELLS was born. Does anyone know of anything that could 'prove' them being in "Old Windsor"? They did have several children born in VT through about 1827 before them moving to Ohio. My brick wall is James Wells b: 13 Mar 1792 (from headstone) and married Persis EARLE in Windsor Co on 10 Dec 1810 (first proof for him ... it was from the 'card index' of VT vital records ..
