I am trying to get a comprehensive list of individuals who served in the Hoisington Rangers (also called the Vermont Rangers, NY Rangers), which was headed by my 4th g-grandfather during the Revolutionary War. Below is a list of individuals that I have found from various sources. All the men were from Cumberland County, later divided into Windsor and other southern Vermont Counties. I know the list is not complete, as only Joab Hoisington was listed in the sources I found although I know for sure that the other Hoisingtons served under their father before going on to other units after his death. So, If you have additional names that should be added or spellings that should be corrected, I would appreciate hearing from you.
