Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Mon. Mar. 5, 1951. HERMAN LOCKWOOD. SPRINGFIELD, VT., March 4--Herman Alvin Lockwood, 74, died today at his home on Valley street after a long illness. Born August 21, 1876, in Weathersfield, he was the son of Alvin T. and Adah (Ward) Lockwood. he is survived by his wife, the former Sadie Spooner. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Davis Memorial chapel, the Rev. Richard F. Beyer officiating. Burial will be in Springfield cemetery. Joan H.
