ROCHESTER, March 19--The funeral of Charles Alexander Champeny, 82, retired farmer, who died yesterday at the farm home of his son, north of this village, will be held at the home at 2 o'clock on Tuesday with the Rev. L. T. Dawes officiating. He was born in the province of Quebec on September 29, 1862, the son of Joseph and Phoebe White, and came to Rochester when he was 16 years old. In September, 1891, he married Miss Elizabeth Nancy Stoor of Ripton. Surviving are his son, Worth A.Champeny ; a sister, Mrs. Charles Raymo and a half- brother, Edward Moquin, both of Canada, grandsons, a granddaughter and a great- grandchild. Transcribed by, Joan H.
